What is Witzig™?
Long story short: No one knows more — or cares more — about dachshunds than us. That’s why our team of experts has built a site, a product line, and a community that’s hopelessly devoted to doxies.
We’ve spent countless hours researching, testing, and developing a selection that’s simply best in show. We know that dachshunds get splashed by rain from above and below, so we have raincoats that protect their bellies, too. We have hard-to-find harnesses that (actually!) fit their wide chests and narrow waists. From gear for their notoriously bad backs to specially-formulated food, we have every inch of doxies and their unique personalities covered. Literally and figuratively.
There’s so much more to these adorable little pooches than just being adorable — and our love runs more than fur deep. Our community offers advice, experiences, and events that are specifically for doxie owners. There’s no one-size-fits-all stuff here. Dachshunds are running through our minds 24/7, and if our hearts had tails, they’d be wagging like crazy.
Witzig also means “witty” in German. And that’s exactly what our favorite little deutsch doggies are. We’re in love, and we know you are, too (or will be, soon). So welcome to dachshund dreamland. Go ahead and dig in!
How do you curate and select products?
We source and find products all over the USA that fits the special needs of our dachshunds. We spoke to hundreds of dachshund parents and consulted with veterinary experts to find products that help with their needs.
It is important for us to work with reputable brands that can provide the quality that is the best for our best friend. We try our best to work with brands that care about animals as much as we do.

How can I ask for help?
We are available to help by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to respond to all emails within 24 hours. If there is anything urgent to do with your pets health, please contact your nearest vet.
Do you work with shelters and other pet-related organizations?
We are in the process of speaking with various dachshund specific shelters and rescues to see how we can best support them! We would love to hear about your suggestions too! Please send us an email at email@example.com if you have an organization that you think we should reach out to.
We provide FREE standard shipping for orders over $49! All other orders ship for a flat rate of $4.95 (standard) or $9.90 (expedited).
How long does it take to get my order?
Orders placed by 4PM (ET) will usually ship within 1 or 2 days, and most customers receive their orders within 3 to 5 business days.
How do I track my order?
We'll send you emails to update you on the progress of your order, or you can check its progress in the Orders section of your account. If you have any questions on your order, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What do I do if I need to return something?
It is important for us that all our customers, and especially your pets are 100% satisfied with our products. If you are not happy with your order or are dissatisfied with the product, please reach out to us at email@example.com and we’ll provide you with instructions for returns. We love to hear feedback (positive and negative!), please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
I'm having trouble logging into my account, what should I do?
The best thing to do is to check that your email and password have been entered correctly. If you have confirmed that your email address and password are correct, try clearing the cookies from your browser. If you are still having trouble, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or chat with us on the site, and we'll help resolve the issue. If you are having difficulty remembering your password, please go to the Sign In page and click on Forgot your password?. We'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset it.
How can I track the delivery of my order?
You can track the status of your order by logging into your Witzig account: Go to your account. Click on Your Orders in the right hand corner. Here, you’ll see all current and previous orders. Click into the order you want to track, and you’ll see a link with your tracking number, as well as all of your order details. We'll also send you your tracking number by email after it has shipped. If you have any questions concerning the delivery of an order, you can always reach out to our team at email@example.com and we'll get you the answers you're looking for.
Can I make changes to my order after it has been confirmed?
After your order has been placed, you cannot make changes to your order from the site directly, as we've started picking and packing in order to ship out to you as quickly as possible. However, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll help you out! Whilst we can’t promise anything, we'll make every attempt to make changes, taking into account each unique situation. Please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com —we’re always happy to see what we can do to help.
Where does Witzig ship to?
We ship to 48 of the 50 states, with the exceptions of Alaska and Hawaii. Unfortunately, we can only deliver to physical addresses and therefore cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO, and we do not deliver internationally at this time.
Where is my order?
If your delivery has not arrived and the expected delivery date and time has passed, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org immediately and we'll help figure out the cause for the delay. You can see the status of past and current orders on the Your Orders page. All tracking numbers, order information and status updates for your delivery will be displayed here, too.
Will I receive my refund in the original form of payment?
Yes, we will refund you in your original form of payment. Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be visible in your account. Please contact us at email@example.com if you don’t see this after 10 business days.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept payment from PayPal as well as any major credit card provider (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org if there is a payment method that you prefer that is not on the list. We are always working on more options in the future.
