The HALTER deserves 5 STARS: The minimal design of the harness is different from others on the market. I especially like that it’s a step-in with just one strong hook & loop fastener with d-ring. Arthritis prohibits me from working buckles and this fastener is just what I need. My dog is very small and not a puller on leash so this is perfect for us! Also it’s a really good halter for a hot summer. Interestingly, my dog is a full grow 6lb Yorkie, not a dachshund, and the halter fits her — but I’ll monitor the wearing to see if the shoulder design is truly appropriate for her breed’s body type for walks on leash — But relaxed at home or for a car trip to the vet or groomer, it will still serve us well. The LEASH, however, is a Zero: The leash is much too heavy and too large in every aspect for a small dog and small halter. I’m sorry I bought these as a set. I am keeping the halter even though I cannot use the leash. Since I bought this as a set, I doubt I can return just the leash.
